Cyclist’s weak heart

CYCLIST’S WEAK HEART.

Victor Duffield, aged 24, a motor mechanic, was found dead in the road at Olton, near Birmingham. A motor car had struck him, but the doctor at the inquest said the injuries caused by the car were slight, and he attributed Duffield’s death to a weak diseased heart, which caused him to fall from his bicycle. The jury returned a verdict accordingly, and attached no blame to the driver of the motor.
